When a family or a couple decide to adopt a child domestically, part of the process is telling your story to prospective birth parents. For Adoption Alliance, the organization I designed this collection for, a profile book is created which is a collection of photos, a personal letter, and essentially a glimpse into your life. I have designed dozens of these profiles for adoptive parents in waiting all across the world. The hardest profile to design was the one I created for us, when my husband and I adopted for the second time. Here just a few highlights of some of the different profiles I have had the honor of working on.
